hey Crescent players…

the Div One season has come to an end. as i mentioned in my previous post.. the season is indeed a very short one for us.. however don’t fret.. actually we had a good tournament although we did not qualify for top 4 placing to move on to play the semi finals. this is our FIRST time playing in Div One.. so i think it is really a good exposure for all of us.. i think some of us at least if not all.. have gained some valuable lessons from the experience. i have also learnt some veluable lessons as an official through thsi ground testing. be assured that we will only improve from here and not stagnate or detriorate. players’ concern about the lack of preparation is being considered at the official level.. we are thinking through the preparation plans for next year’s league in terms of funding, pitches, jerseys, training tours etc. i do hope you can be patient with us as we are trying our best to tackle certain pressing issues. lastly, on behalf of the club i hope you gals and guys.. will continue to support the club and contribute in any way you can.

hey people.. season this time round seems so short.. i guess partly becos we didn’t have proper pre-season prep.. so that’s why it seems like div one comes and is going just like that. i wasn’t able to deliver a decent performance so far this season.. i am sorry for disappointing the team and all..

i can tell that our team has far reaching potential.. i cannot stress this enough. i hope everyone is aware of this.. let’s all contribute to achieving our goals in one way or another. right now we need everyone to strengthen the team.. even if you feel like you don’t feel like playing anymore.. or don’t wish to play anymore (sometimes i myself have these thoughts).. we need to just stay on for the others who need us..

ps.. those who have the moral t shirt.. haha… wanna wear this coming game against theresian???? hee hee…. *evil laugh

Juz to add more info on our fund-raising tee…

1) YES, we’re selling the tees, and should be retailing them at S$15 each, irregardless of size (juz in case we have some ninnyheads who might ask DOH qns as such =P)

2) Similar to what we’re done two years ago, we’ve ordered two kinds of t-shirts – Regular Tees and Mini Tees. Measurements are as follows:

3) I’ll be receiving a sample of the printed tee by early next week, and upon approval, the supplier will start printing our order of 300 shirts. Within two to three weeks from the approval date, the shirts will be delivered to Nordin’s residence.

4) Gd idea to pitch tee sales to all friends around you – starting now in fact! The design/message of the tee is pretty generic, which means it would also cater to your non-hockey friends.

5) Also think it’d be great if you wanna do a pre-order with your contacts. At the moment, I’m unsure of who will be in-charge of the tee order. Will check with Nordin and revert to all.

haiiii. police game was….TIRING!! cos my ass is biggg. hahah. and sun was hot lahh. BUT i most certainly enjoyed playing (YAYYY!) esp with you all. evolution pls. so ppl get psyched up okay. i want to play somemore!!!!
and i think we need more talkin on the pitch. at some point of time during the game i thought i was playing with the deaf society or smth. so pls open your mouth and talk. dont be humji. old or young, just open mouth. (but dont talk rubbish pls) i think talking together as a team intimidates your opponent. thats what ive learnt from playing touch rugby. some ppl talk until want to kena bitchslap. so do it moderately okay? hahah. its a together thing so refrain from scolding.
and another point! – SUPPORT. yesss for 2v1, support is vital! so to make 2v1 work you gotta support. doesnt mean you pass the ball, your job is done. you gotta support and follow up your pass, all the way if possible.

so next game TALK & SUPPORT! that is the first step to evolution. hai yaaaa! -kungfu moves-

hey people …

faizal bought a mascot for crescent hockey club.. pic above… we need to decide if the mascot’s gonna be a male or female.. and what’s the name gonna be.. any suggestions? do post as comments.. man of the match will bring the mascot home for the week or longer depends if we have game the next week… man of match will bring mascot for next game to be passed to new man of he match..

the game we played against scc was a really good game… we have potential to be better .. i think when each one of us reach our form.. when we’re top form i believe we’ll be a force to reckon with.. we will be formidable.. but of course realistically.. this doesn’t happen over night.. we must keep working hard..te fruits of our labour may not materialize this year or next.. but the day will come.. sooner or later.. i believe it will.. we have one of the best youth development programme.. looking at our current juniors who are fast scaling the mountain.. they will be with us soon.. they will be the new blood that push us further in our pursuit of the premier league.. btu from now till then.. what we need is hard work.. and loads and loads of it.. the time will come for us.. it’s not now.. but its gonna be soon..we need to prepare ourselves for the challenge in unity for the love of the club.. for the love of the game.. crescent forever..
